The run was beautiful. The area of Dallas is exceptionally clean and so very scenic. There were hills all through out the course but it was a fantastic run. Could not have asked for better weather either.
At mile 10, I was at 1:57 and was super excited because I knew if I kept it up my time would be good. At mile 11 is when I began to get tired and my feet and legs started to hurt a bit. Then mile 12 came and I picked up the pace a bit. As I rounded the corner and could see the end, for some reason I got a surge of energy. I ran as fast as I could and crossed the finish line.
